Wembley Stadium is the venue for the final of the men's and women's football competitions, as well as group games for the Great Britain men's and women's teams. The old Wembley Stadium was the centrepiece of the 1948 Olympics - the last time the Games came to London - but the stadium has since been knocked down and rebuilt. Constructed with an arch that soars over 130 metres into the sky, the new Wembley Stadium re-opened in 2007 and is the home of the England football team. It is the biggest of the six stadiums being used for the Olympic football competition with a capacity of 90,000.
